Beelzebub, chief liutenant of hell, King of Demons under Lucifer, Lord of Flies, partner of Belial, and often times known to a certain lost soul as Mr. Red/Baron Red. :3

He destroys through tyrants, he can make gods out of demons and cause humanity to worship them, priests lust under his power, he can pit brother against brother- destroying cities, and call on war. He is associated with the deadly sin of Gluttony and all things eventually fall to ruin under his touch.

However, he was once a high ranking cherubim as Lucifer in the old days and even suggested at the time of their Fall that they give up and surrender to Heaven in order to return. He has long since changed his views quite drastically.

Under Lucifer, he, like Astaroth, helps rule Hell. As Astaroth advises, Beelzebub directs the armies of Hell and all that wish to speak to Lucifer go through him first. One can almost liken him to the heavenly Metatron in his position. He is just that powerful.

Beelzebub as Lord of the Flies does indeed have very fly like traits. His True Self is even a humanoid fly-esque monstrosity. He hums and buzzes a bit when he talks and does not care for the taste of fresh food, preferring it always at a state of past prime. His saliva, like a true fly's, can disentegrate matter, though much faster than the average fly. His personality is more like a sadistic gentleman in opposition to his partner, Belial's, more malicious quiet and observational personality.

His rival in Hell is none other than Astaroth though the two are meant to help each other as well, considering their positions. It is often very hard to tell if he even has his heart in his rivalry with Astaroth. His partner, Belial, he treats like a brother and no two partners in Hell are closer than these two. When they walk the world together, they often take care of a lost soul in their midst named Alice who refers to them each as Mr. Red and Mr. Black.

I wanted for this picture to demonstrate Beelzebub's powerful abilities, mostly in the arena of destruction. The black pillars behind him are gathering power and are inspired by the Nightmare System from Shin Megami Tensei 3.

The skull and bones on his wings are inspired from the Dictionary Infernal drawing of Fly-Beelzebub. His leg armor or what can be seen of it, is inspired by *digielectro's Naberius. As for his weapon, I just made it up on the spot, though I'm thinking about changing it, since he is often depicted wielding a scepter of sorts made from some kind of spine.

Its been a while since I added another demon to my little series, so I hope everyone enjoys this entry.
